Conditions of Use
You must be eighteen years old to use this site. If you are under eighteen, you may only use the site in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a parent or guardian. We have the right to refuse at our discretion to supply any goods ordered by you.
MY Food Lifestyle Ltd owns the copyright and ownership for all the information. As a potential customer you may retrieve and display such information on your computer screen and print out individual pages from the website for the sole purpose of placing an order for our services. The copying, modifying or transmitting of the material for any other purposes is strictly prohibited.
We reserve the right to make changes to our Terms and Conditions and our website at any time. Any orders placed after the changes have taken place you the customer will be bound by such changes.
Voucher Codes
Any voucher codes advertised online or elsewhere are only valid to the products stated. If used on other products we reserve the right to contact you for any additional payment that may be due.
Virus Infection
It is the responsibility of the user to check all materials for viruses before downloading them from this site.
Pricing
All goods offered for sale through our web site are priced in UK Pounds Sterling (£)
Typographical Errors
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders based on the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. In such a case it is our policy to contact you, and allow you to choose whether you wish to continue with the order at the corrected price.
Payment Method
You undertake that all details you provide us for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered. You must provide us with your exact name and address that your credit card issuer has on file for you. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. All goods remain the property of MY Food Lifestyle Ltd until paid for in full.
Availability of Goods
All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. We will however contact you if a product you have ordered is out of stock.
We endeavour to bring our customers the best value we can, however stock is limited and subject to availability from our suppliers. We update our website as quickly as we can to ensure up to date information for our customers.
Allergies & Intolerances
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, you must inform us at time of order.
Please note our food is produced in kitchens that handle nuts, so meals are not suitable for people with severe nut allergies.
Please be aware that products may contain nut shells.
Ordering MY Food
If for any reason you decide to stop your plan we will be happy to offer a refund. You will be charged for any food already ordered or prepared, plus a £35 cancellation fee.
Please let us know of any dates you are going away where you do not require food as early as possible. 7 days in advance is fine. We are happy to put your MY Food on hold whilst you are away & add those days onto the end of your plan if necessary.
If you do go away without letting us know and do not require your meals that have already been prepared, unfortunately you will be charged for these.
If you are on our BH17 collection plan and you forget to pick up your food it is also your responsibility and you will be charged for those meals if they are not collected.
Delivery of MY Food
If you are on our nationwide delivery scheme you will receive a chilled hamper to the agreed delivery address on the day specified, before 8pm
All orders are shipped by our nationwide couriers on a next day service.
Deliveries do not require a signature however if you aren’t available we will leave the hamper in a suggested safe place (for example “leave with a neighbour” or “leave in garage”). This is then entirely at your own risk and you will be responsible if the hamper goes missing. If you would like the hamper delivered to a different address than the one originally agreed please advise us as soon as possible.
We advise you to refrigerate or freeze all food immediately upon receipt and follow instructions on your menu. All dishes are clearly labelled.
It is not possible to deliver to some non mainland locations, if you are unsure please email us at sales@myfood.co.uk
If for any reason you wish to stop your MY Food please advise us a minimum of 7 days in advance and we will be happy to hold this for a maximum of 3 months unless a special arrangement has been made with us. We ask for a minimum of 7 days notice to restart your plan.
Delivery of all other goods
We are entitled to make partial deliveries if necessary however we will always contact the customer to advise.
All deliveries will be made as soon as possible after your order has been accepted and in any event within 30 days of the order being placed.
Recycling
We endeavour to recycle as much as possible and would be grateful if you could help us in our efforts and recycle all packaging where appropriate.
Claims for damages or shortages
If there is any visible damage to the delivered goods, it is your responsibility to contact us immediately stating that the goods have not been received in an acceptable condition. It is imperative that you do not dispose of any of the packaging, as this will be required to make a claim against the carrier. We will make a claim against the carrier and if necessary arrange for the damaged goods to be collected and replacements to be sent to you. In such a case, the goods can only be collected from the original point of delivery.
It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the delivery or carriers consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the delivery notes and it is your responsibility to notify us within 2 days of delivery.
Cancellation of orders and returns
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch by calling us during normal office hours, or emailing us. This will incur a £35 cancellation fee.
Orders cancelled after dispatch cannot be refunded or returned.
Cancellation of weekly payment plans
To cancel or pause your weekly payment plan please email us at sales@myfood.co.uk a minimum of 7 days before your next delivery is scheduled.
Upon receipt of your email we will contact you to assist.
Please note we require minimum 7 days notice for a cancellation or to pause your plan.
There is no cancellation fee for weekly payment plans.
Refunds
If for any reason you are issued with a refund it will be issued to the same payment method as on the original order. If you have benefited from a discounted day rate by purchasing a longer plan and a refund is required, the refund will be calculated at the 7 day rate. After 28 days or more the refund will be calculated according to the day rate matching the number of days of food eaten, plus the £35 cancellation fee.
A refund will usually reach your credit card account within 5 working days, but please allow up to 10 working days for it to be credited.
Liability
The extent of our liability to you shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the goods and we shall under no circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
If you have any medical conditions or concerns about your health that may be affected by a change in diet, please consult your GP before starting your plan. MY Food Lifestyle Ltd will not accept any liability for deterioration in medical conditions.
Warranties
Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect your statutory rights as a customer, exclude or restrict our liability to you for any injury caused through our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Complaints
We operate a procedure which is used to resolve disputes as soon as they arise. If you have a complaint please contact us via email
Entire Agreement
The above Terms and Conditions cannot be varied except in writing by a director of MY Food Lifestyle Ltd. Therefore anything said by any member of staff on behalf of MY Food Lifestyle Ltd should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by MY Food Lifestyle Ltd We shall have no liability for any such misrepresentation being untrue or misleading.
